The CL Chryslers were produced in Australia from 1976 to 1978. The CL model was subsequently the twelfth Australian Chrysler Valiant model.
These models are becoming rare, especially the wagon format.
The scope of works that we will be carrying out to this example is the following. The vehicle will be stripped to a bare shell, body and panels will be sent away and dipped and then upon its return the condition of the body will be inspected.
Epoxy primer complete body and panels. Then commence on body work, as there was quiet a bit of rust and previous modification work also carried out.
One of the modifications carried out was they had installed LPG configuration, meaning all unnecessary holes had to be covered up back to original. The suspension and under-body components will be left as it is.
The engine will be rebuilt from the ground up and all components in engine bay. All Chrome-work carried out, all new seals and any other parts where deemed necessary upon assessment.
Complete new paint job to complete body and all panels in the original Brown colour. The trim will be left as is except for new headlining fitted.
We will keep you updated as we progress.
