We have been commissioned to carry out a full restoration on this 1957 FE Holden Special.
This Classic Holden came to us in a sad and original condition. There hadn’t been too many previous poor repairs being carried out in its lifetime, a good start to the overall ‘health’ of the vehicle.
The dry storage life was also quite evident on the first initial view.
As with most classic cars of this vintage, dipping is required of the body and its body panels.
We have already dismantled, tagged and bagged all parts and components and moved into our storage rooms.
Some panels are available which is of a benefit to the end time spent on the overall project. We will be fabricating panels that are not available.
Bodywork has commenced on all floors, from boot floor to cabin floors then working out to sills.
All body work is complete, paint work complete and assembling process has commenced
